N-1000-IV 4 door card access controller

The N-1000-IV is 4 reader control access panel. It supports all major reader technologies and 12 digit ABA card formats. It has 4 relay outputs expandable to 20 outputs. 5000 card memory is expandable to 25000 card memory. 6600 buffers transaction is expandable to 10200 buffers. It is compatible to N-1000-II and is expandable by just adding more panels in case of larger installation.
The panels operate as total stand alone units with fully distributed database. All valid card numbers, timezones, relay pulse times, and alarm point shunt times are loaded into the controller's memory. The panel controls access to multiple buildings on a stand alone basis with no dependency on a central computer system.
By utilizing distributed technology, no more than 4 card readers or keypads are controlled by a given controller thereby providing maximum reliability.

  • 16 supervised alarm inputs. Separate inputs for tamper switching and primary power fail monitoring.
  • DPDT form C relays, 4 on N-1000-IV, 8 on N-1000-IV-X.
  • 63 timezones control card access, relays and alarm points.
  • Relays are "time programmable" for automatic controls.
  • 12 VDC battery backup.
  • 12 VDC, 500 mA output for reader/IR devices.

Each N-1000-IV supports up to 4 of the following:

  • Key Readers
  • Magnetic Stripe Card Readers
  • Proximity Card Readers
  • Barcode Readers
  • Barium Ferrite Readers
  • Biometric Readers (Hand geometry and others)
  • Keypads (5 wire and 12 wire units)
For high security applications the above readers can be used with a reader/keypad combination. This means the card holder needs both an access control card and a PIN code. 

The control panel offers the flexibility of controlling entry to four doors, or a two doors with anti-passback.
